You automatically qualify for a free device if you are low-income or participate in any of the following:

• Veterans’ programs for housing or benefits

• SSDI or SSI

• SNAP

• Medicaid

• Housing assistance (Section 8, public housing, etc.)

• WIC

• Lifeline

• Public school free/reduced lunch

• Prison re-entry program

• Are unhoused or living in temporary/transitional housing

We serve residents of Henderson, Transylvania, and Buncombe counties.

We follow the HHS guidelines for low-income eligibility; any household below 200% of the poverty line qualifies:

Household of 1: $31,920

Household of 2: $43,280

Household of 3: $54,640

Household of 4: $66,000

Household of 5: $77,360

Household of 6: $88,720
